Welcome to Niece Web!
Hey guys, I'm Johnaven Dubose, the creator of Niece Web...but you can just call me Dark Spider X. Welcome to my first ever webcomic! Ever since I was a little kid, I always wanted to make a comic and make people laugh and now I finally have that chance (not to get too emotional, lol). So make yourselves at home and I hope you enjoy today's comic. Its the first part of a little story to introduce the characters.
For the most part, the comic website is fully functional. I made this website from scratch with my bare hands and a book on creating HTML code. I'm pretty happy with what it looks like...its simplistic, yet fun looking. So take a walk around the website and bask in its "basic website" glory. I really suggest going to the Infodex where it gives an outline of the comic and what to expect. Also there's a cast page that describes all the players in the comic. Finally there's a contact page where there's information on how to contact me in case you have any hell to send me (but you wouldn't do that, would you?)
The website is not finished by a long shot...I got lots of stuff in stored for you guys. There's going to be a scrapbook section where I'll post up original art for the comic and many neat promotional things that I'll cook up. There's also going to be a section that I'll call the "Dark Spider Web". Its basically a webpage where I'll talk/rant/complain/shill/orgasm about anything. Since I love comics, I'll post reviews about any webcomic I come across. Oh and let's not forget about the standard page of links that you see on every website...that's going to be here too. So keep a look out for more stuff in the near future.
I know I talked your head off, so I'll just stop and let you enjoy the comic and the website. Look for the comic to be updated every Tuesday and Friday starting in August. Until then I'll try to update on Tuesday and Friday, but I can' t guarantee it. Just giving you guys advance warning. Later Taters!
