Good news and bad news

The bad news is that there is no new comic today as promised. It will be up either Sunday or Monday at the latest. The Good news however is that I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

New Comic Commentary

If you have been reading through the archives of Niece Web, you'll notice that in the first two comics I had a little commentary about the comic below it. But after the 2nd comic, I stopped doing it. Well today, I updated the archives so all of the archived comics have commentary to it. I think having commentary along with the comics adds a new dimension to reading the comics. I can add additional stuff that wasn't in the comic, or I can give you my opinion on that particular comic, or even add some "behind the scenes" info about that particular comic. Its really whatever I feel like. Think of it as that bonus commentary track you get on most DVDs these days. Man I love those things. So yea, from now on you'll see all archived comics have bonus commentary to them.

New Comic and New Art Gallery pics today

Hey guys, its another Tuesday and another update. Sorry for the late update, but hey its still technically Tuesday, so I didnt' lie. In fact, you should probably expect Tuesday updates to be this late for now on. Anyway, Niece Web reaches 10 comics today so that's a nice little number to be at. To celebrate, go check out the Art Gallery to see "Sisters Forever" and "A Worthful Ending", the new pictures I created recently. They are my nicest yet.

With my tenth comic, you get a nice fight scene. Comic after comic of tension, Neoma and Melony lose control and go at it. I think I did a pretty good job with it, especially since I always had trouble drawing fighting or pretty much any scene heavy on action. I'm suprised how far my drawing ability has grown since even 2 months ago. Doing a regular comic will do that to you I guess.

Since this is the beginning storyline of the comic, I do have to flesh out my characters at every chance I could get, and today's comic provided some good opportunities. Spring shows to have a devilish side enjoying the Neoma/Melony fight, especially since she had a big hand in its creation. Autumn and Summer at least take responsibility for the actions and feel bad about it. Dark Spider and Winter are forever taking pot shots at each other, and today's comic was no exception. I really got to show Winter's cold side when she enjoys Dark Spider getting knocked out. Speaking of such, I cringed when I drew those 2 panels of Dark Spider getting knocked out...it is my caricature after all.

So yea, The finale of Disasterous Date will be on Saturday so be there for it. Later Taters!

Haha, No new comic today

You guys probably came to the site last night saying to yourself, where's the new comic at? Well, I'm sorry to say, but I wasn't able to get it done tonight. School and a big trip that I went on. I'll have a new one done by this Tuesday. Along with some new art work for the gallery, so there will e plenty of new stuff to look forward to, so stay tuned.

I'm lauging to myself because I was able to type this whole blog in without looking at the screen and watching tv. I didn't know I was able to do that. Well now I know, hahaha. See you guys next time. Later Taters.
