Niece Web 77 is now up!

Hello everyone. Today's comic is up at 7PM today because it was done in advance (how it should be, ha). The new strip style is working wonders for me. It takes me about 1 hour to draw the comic and about an hour and a half to color it. It feels like a great weight has been lifted off of my shoulder and the comic has become manageable. In fact, I can finally begin working on a buffer for the comic, especially since the computer lab where I do my comic will become unavailable for the month of August. From this point on, I can say that Niece Web will finally become stable!

I'm in the process of making a media package for the Niece Web comic and market it to different people out there. Last Saturday's comic was an example comic from the package (the Rainy Day Club story took another small break). I'm going to be working dilligently to churn out the 24 comics necessary to fulfill this package. This also means 24 update days for the website, so its an added plus for you guys!

For now the update days are still Tuesday and Saturday, until September when the new 3x a week schedule will go into effect. Later Taters until Saturday's update.

Niece Web #75 is now up!

Hello everybody. The 75th comic is now up, in a new "comic strip" style format. In case you missed it, the reasons for doing the comic in this style was explained in the last news post. The Rainy Day Club story arc is winding down to its conclusion, so don't miss these next couple of weeks. The comic will be updated on Saturday, so later taters until then.

The new comic is up along with some important news

Hello everyone. Despite it being one day late, the special 1 year anniversary comic is now up. Its a simple comic featuring Summer and her "progression" throughout the year as well as her "future forecast".

Some rather big changes are in store for the comic. In order for me to keep up the quality in the comic, I have to reduce it to a strip style. With all the crazy stuff happening in my life right now, I have become really unreliable in updating the comic. So I came up with the idea to do a strip style comic. Don't worry, the writing of the comic will not suffer, as if joke or event requires more space in order to tell it effectively, I won't hesitate to give it more space.

As a favorable consequence of the strip style, I decided to update 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Reducing to 2 strips a week hurts the pacing of the comic, so the added update day helps even out the pacing. Overall, my weekly comic workload is reduced by 25%, which is very good for my now hectic life.

So when will these changes begin? The strip style will begin as early as this Tuesday. The 3x a week update pattern will begin at the BEGINNING of SEPTEMBER!!! I want to emphasize that so you guys won't think it'll start this week. I'll let you guys know in advance when the pattern will begin.
